  1. Thank you for a great cast! Just recently found out about your video podcast, and I really like it. Keep up the good work. =)

Just want to comment that when they are speaking about "the New World" they referring to Australia, and that's where the ship were going.

  2. Hey guys! Just discovered your vidcasts and I absolutely love it! I really enjoyed hearing your thoughts and wanted to comment on something you brought up that didn't come to my attention at first. Regarding the butterfly being followed into the Black Rock. You guys mentioned the Charlie episode from season 1, titled "The Moth" Theres a great quote from that episode from
Locke that has parallels to Jacob's refusal to get involved in persuading people's decisions. Heres the quote according to Lostpedia:

LOCKE: You see this little hole? This moth's just about to emerge. It's in there right now, struggling. It's digging it's way through the thick hide of the cocoon. Now, I could help it, take my knife, gently widen the opening, and the moth would be free. But it would be too weak to survive. The struggle is nature's way of strengthening it.

This reminds me of what Jacob said during his conversation with Ricardo. He said something along these lines:
"Because I wanted them to help hemselves..without me having to tell them. It's all meaningless if I have
to force them to do anything. Why should I have to step in?"

Thanks for the great vidcasts and I wil continue getting LOST.

  3. DanielM - Thanks for the compliment... so they were speaking of Australia? I missed that! Thanks!!

Jacob Stone - Rock and ROLL!! What an awesome correlation!!! I was close to connecting those pieces but you absolutely nailed it my friend!!

That is exactly what the creators were alluding to with not only "The Moth" dialogue but also Jacob's from "Ab Aeterno"

    This show freaking rules!!
